John has over 10 years experience working for architectural firms with varied project backgrounds including educational, mountain resorts, housing, multi-use and civic fields. His attention to detail, high degree of integrity, responsibility and ambition have allowed him to be part of projects of any size from initial conceptual design work through detailed construction documents into construction and concluding with client occupation.
John's ambition's have recently expanded into understanding how to make the buildings he works on more energy efficient through completing his BPI certification in 2010.
John has a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, with Minors in Construction Management and Business Administration from North Dakota State University in 2000. John is currently Licensed in Minnesota since 2009, Colorado since 2010 and is a LEED AP professional since 2008.
John is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Boulder Green Building Guild and the USGBC - Colorado Chapter.
